Nick Hall (Founder & Chief Communicator)

As a voice to the next generation, Nick has shared the Gospel at hundreds of events to millions of students and is regularly featured as a speaker for pastors gatherings, student conferences, training events, and festivals around the world. A graduate of North Dakota State University, he has a passion for student-led prayer movements, leadership training, evangelism, and discipleship, and has received hands-on training from some of the most influential Christian leaders of our day. He sits on the leadership teams for the US Lausanne Committee, the National Association of Evangelicals, and the student advisory team for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), and is a partner evangelist with the Luis Palau Association. In the spring of 2011, he was welcomed to the National Facilitation Committee for the Mission America Coalition (MAC). Nick is married to his best friend, Tiffany; they live in Minneapolis, MN. They have a son, Truett, and daughter, Ruby.

Justin Tennison (President)

As a graduate from North Dakota State University—where PULSE’s story began—Justin has had a front row seat witnessing PULSE grow from a three-person organization to a leading evangelistic movement with a global reach. He joined the PULSE Board of Directors in 2008, later becoming Chairman of the Board in 2010 and then joining the staff as President in 2014. Justin has a B.S. in industrial engineering from North Dakota State University and a MBA from Purdue University. Prior to working with PULSE, he spent eight years in the medical device industry with Boston Scientific and Endo Health Solutions, where he managed several hundred employees and budgets exceeding $50 million. Justin and his wife, Alyssa, along with their children, Julia, Lauren, Theodore, and Willliam, live in Minnesota, where they greatly enjoy the summers.

Ebony Small (Vice President – Multiplication)

Ebony Small serves as the Vice President of Multiplication at PULSE. Based out of New York City, Ebony spent eight years with movement.org, a Gospel movement dedicated to catalyzing leaders to impact cities across the nation. Ebony has a passion and commitment to invest in young leaders, seeing incredible potential at a time when many despair of those leaving the church. In her new role, Ebony will give strategic oversight to multiplication efforts at PULSE. Ebony also serves as an Associate Pastor at Bethel Gospel Assembly, Inc. in New York City and is currently working on a book with InterVarsity Press entitled, “Moving Up: An Emerging Leader’s Path to Leadership in the Church and the Marketplace.”

Susan Harris (Senior Development Officer)

Susan Harris has a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She has more than fifteen years of experience in nonprofit marketing, development, and youth work. Susan started her career in Los Angeles as a production manager for commercials before shifting into church and parachurch ministries. Susan and her husband Kevin have two children, Tobias and Adelaide.

Jay Anderson (Director of Ministry Expansion)

Jay Anderson grew up living in a different state or country each year until high school. Traveling with his family for his father’s work, Jay “inherited” the family business and travelled with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association setting up festivals. As the lead for ministry partnerships, Jay uses his God-given talents to network across the country with ministries, events, bands, and speakers for PULSE. Jay lives in Minneapolis with his wife Steph and their children, Caleb, Adalyn, and Asher.
