The name Giovanni Gentile is not a household name unlike Karl Marx or Adam Smith, but in this Prager U video presented by filmmaker and best-selling author Dinesh D’Souza; it needs to become a household name if conservatives and federalists not only want to advance their agenda but shed its reputation of being advocates of Fascism. If enough people understand who Gentile was and what he espoused and promoted, they will realize that most level-headed common sense Conservatives (and even Donald Trump) are not the fascists in question. The true fascists will finally be revealed to be the ‘enlightened loving caring progressives’ who are not so loving and caring when people don’t submit to their vision (i.e. their CONTROL).
There is a reason you don’t know about Gentile, and why Adolf Hitler is condemned for the wrong and/or missing reasons. He was no fan of individual liberty and freedom and preferred a government system in which every one of its citizens was part of the government’s ‘family,’ and that citizenry submitting (by choice?) to that respected ‘nanny state’ of sorts. Pay close attention to some of the statements made by Democrats and other progressives. They are quoting Gentile’s ideals while keeping him in the shadows and projecting his labels on us. No, Fascism is socialism hands down; and socialists, we conservatives and federalists are not.
