Aleteia | New Museum of the Bible to offer free admission

The Museum of the Bible will offer free admission when it opens in Washington, DC, on November 17, according to a Washington Post report.

While the nonprofit museum will suggest a $15 per person donation, it will not charge an entrance fee.

“Our mission is to invite all people to engage with the Bible, and with a suggested donation we believe more people will come,” Vice President of Marketing Steven Bickley told the Post.

Advance timed passes will be available online starting on August 28 at 10 a.m., and tickets maybe be obtained at the website, museumofthebible.org, without making a donation.

Founded by Steve Green, chief executive of Hobby Lobby, the museum will feature 430,000 square feet of exhibit space on the Bible, its history, and its impact.
