Aol.com | Kanye West and Chick-fil-A team up to help struggling Angelenos: ‘I am blown away’

Kanye West and Chick-fil-A are helping to keep vulnerable Angelenos fed during the global health crisis.

When the Los Angeles Unified School District closed indefinitely on March 13, the Christian nonprofit Los Angeles Dream Center stepped up to the plate to make sure that every child had food, clothing and other essentials. As part of that initiative, the “Jesus Is King” rapper teamed up with Chick-fil-A to provide 300,000 meals, Fox News reports.

“Every morning I wake up and stand in the parking lot with our dedicated staff, I am blown away that day after day, week after week, there is enough food to provide to folks that need it,” Dream Center co-founder Matthew Barnett told Fox News.

Thanks to generous donors like West and Chick-fil-A, the Dream Center has even been able to deliver food to vulnerable, at-risk seniors.
