Five hundred construction workers are laboring across three shifts a day to get the Museum of the Bible ready for its November opening. In addition to 40,000 biblical artifacts, the Washington, D.C. attraction will house a 500-seat performance theater and a restaurant that will serve first-century food from Israel. In a biblical garden, guests can spend time “soaking in the rich history of the Bible.” A virtual reality component will enable visitors to walk through the Red Sea and look out across the Sea of Galilee.
