Most people want to live lives of significance, but many wrongly believe they’ll never be able to do it. They believe they have to have an amazing idea, have a lot of money or be powerful or famous to make a real difference.
Pastor, life coach and best-selling author John Maxwell says none of those things is necessary to achieve significance and create a lasting legacy. He says all that’s needed to achieve significance is to be intentional.
To do that, he says, all a person needs to do is start. No one can make an impact sitting still and doing nothing. Every major accomplishment that’s ever been achieved started with a first step. Sometimes it’s hard; other times it’s easy. But no matter what, you have to do it if you want to get anywhere in life.
In his latest book, Intentional Living, Maxwell shows readers how to take that first step, and the ones that follow, on a personal path through a life that matters.
