Christian Daily | Pentagon finds evidence of Iran-North Korea missiles link after Greg Laurie releases End Times prophecy warning

The Pentagon has revealed that it found evidence of North Korea’s participation in Iran’s missile program, a revelation that comes just days after Pastor Greg Laurie warned that the ties between the two countries could play a part in the Bible’s End Times prophecy.

Middlebury Institute of International Studies missile proliferation expert Jeffrey Lewis said they found that the first missiles they saw in Iran were “simply copies of North Korean missiles” which hit a South Korean warship in 2010. He also said they saw photos showing “common hardware” between the two countries. The Christian Post notes that the Pentagon’s revelation comes on the heels of Pastor Laurie’s suggestion that North Korea could be helping Iran in some way.

The other missiles launched by Iran in recent years were reportedly based on North Korea’s design. Lewis said they noticed that the things they see in North Korea would also later appear in Iran.

“In the past, we would see things in North Korea and they would show up in Iran,” Fox News quotes Lewis as saying. “In some recent years, we’ve seen some small things appear in Iran first and then show up in North Korea and so that raises the question of whether trade — which started off as North Korea to Iran — has started to reverse.”

In a Facebook video posted on May 1, Pastor Laurie said North Korea does not appear to be included in the Bible’s End Times prophecy. However, it could be supplying Iran with weapons. In light of the rising tensions between the reclusive state and the Trump administration, he also suggested that the U.S. could be destroyed before the fulfillment of the prophecy.

“Here is what concerns me. We do not find the reigning superpower on the face of the Earth anywhere in the Last Days scenario. Other nations emerge,” said Pastor Laurie in his video. “So where is America? I pray we are not out of the picture, because we have been in some kind of nuclear conflict.”

Meanwhile, North Korea has drawn condemnation from France after a failed ballistic missile test on April  29. A representative from the French ministry of foreign affairs said the test is a threat to world peace and security, and called for “firm” action against Pyongyang’s nuclear ambitions, Reuters reports.

North Korea’s latest ballistic missile test came after U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson warned of “catastrophic consequences” of not stopping the reclusive state’s nuclear programs.
