VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) – one of the world’s largest and longest-running religious broadcasters – celebrates 32 years of CBN News coverage of the Republican National Convention (RNC).
Throughout the 2016 presidential race, CBN has been a frontrunner in faith-based news coverage, constantly providing exclusive interviews and forums with the candidates.
Just last week Pat Robertson, founder of the network, conducted an extended one-on-one interview with now Republican nominee, Donald Trump. Other candidates to visit CBN during this election cycle have included Gov. Jeb Bush, Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Dr. Ben Carson.
“The Republican and Democratic conventions represent ‘history-in-the-making’ and draw the finest journalists in the world,” says Gordon Robertson, CEO of CBN. “Our team is doing the hard work of providing expert analysis of the event itself, while uncovering the stories behind the spectacle that truly matter to our audience.”
Since 1984, CBN has covered both the RNC and the Democratic National Convention, and will be sending a team of journalists to the DNC next week.
