Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC)/CONEL, America’s largest Hispanic Christian Evangelical organization, has been named by Charisma Magazine as one of “40 People Who Radically Changed the World” and listed among Latino Leaders Magazine’s “101 Most Influential Leaders.” Charisma features Rodriguez and others leaders such as Oral Roberts, Bill Bright, Rick Warren, Marilyn Hickey, James Robison and George O. Wood, to name a few, in the August 2015 40th anniversary edition of Charisma Magazine. Rodriguez is also included in the July/August 2015 cover story of Latino Leaders Magazine.
As president of NHCLC/CONEL, the nation’s largest Hispanic Christian organization representing millions of Evangelicals globally and more than 40,000 U.S. churches, Rodriguez works with leaders worldwide to reconcile evangelist Billy Graham’s message of salvation with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s march of prophetic activism through the “7 Directives” of life, family, compassionate evangelism, stewardship, justice, education and youth.

In January 2013, he was the first Latino to ever be invited to deliver the keynote address at The Martin Luther King, Jr. 40th Anniversary Commemorative Service at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Rodriguez has been invited to give keynote speeches at a variety of gatherings including The Ethics and Public Policy Center’s 2013 National Religious Freedom Conference in Washington, D.C., as well as at The White House, Princeton, Yale, Promise Keepers, The National Association of Evangelicals and Liberty University. He frequently meets and consults members of both parties in Congress and in White House meetings on social justice, Latino and values issues. He also served on President Obama’s White House Task Force on Fatherhood and Healthy Families.
Rodriguez is the author of “The Lamb’s Agenda” (Thomas Nelson, 2013) and “Path of Miracles” (2009).
