[Statement] Jentezen Franklin Calls on Americans to ‘Help Our Neighbors’ in the Aftermath of Hurricane Michael

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Jentezen Franklin, senior pastor of Free Chapel, releases the following statement responding to the devastation caused by Hurricane Michael:

“I’m heartbroken upon hearing stories of lives lost and neighborhoods destroyed as a result of Hurricane Michael. The people of the Florida Panhandle and Southwest Georgia desperately need our prayers and our help.

Often it is in the worst of times that we discover the good of humanity and the depth of love that we have for each other and our neighbors. Everyone, everywhere can do something to help those who’ve endured such catastrophic loss—call a loved one, prepare a meal, or lend a hand as families clean up and rebuild.

At Free Chapel, we will do everything we can to help these residents overcome this devastation. The power of a hurricane is no match for the love we have for our brothers and sisters around the country.

Pastor Jentezen Franklin is the Senior Pastor of Free Chapel, a multi campus church. Each week his television program Kingdom Connection is broadcast on major networks all over the world. A New York Times best-selling author, Jentezen has written eight books including his latest, Love Like You’ve Never Been Hurt.
