Statement | Jentezen Franklin on Sudan’s new relationship with Israel: “A nation once at odds with Israel has traded hostility for peace”

GAINESVILLE, Ga. – Upon the announcement of normalized relations between Sudan and the State of Israel, Pastor Jentezen Franklin has issued the following statement:

“Yet again, a nation once at odds with Israel has traded hostility for peace. Sudan has made tremendous progress in recent years combating tyranny, condemning terrorist activity, and ushering in peace and prosperity for its people. And today, Sudan has publicly announced they are normalizing relations with Israel – the third nation to do so in just two months.

Every peace-loving person around the world should celebrate this historic and miraculous announcement. I’m thankful for leaders like President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu, and Prime Minister Hamdok for setting an example for the rest of the world that peace is possible if you’re willing to ignore conventional wisdom and reject the status quo.”
