FOREST, Va. (WSET) — A Forest business is helping fight the Coronavirus in China.

World Help, a Christian international humanitarian organization, is sending money for masks and a week’s worth of food to people in high risk areas.

World Help says this disease has killed more than 900 people in China and caused almost 60 million to be quarantined.

Beth Warner, director of International Programs, says World Help has a lot of connections and networks in China.

They have been sending the money directly to the country so the resources can be bought there.

“It’s a big problem and it’s scary for a lot of people there and then with the reduction in the supplies, they can’t get what they need,” Warner says.

You can help right from your home by donating on their website.
