FOREST, Va. (WSET) – One local organization is helping out on an international scale. World Help is aiding those impacted by Veneuzuelan hunger crisis.
They have partners in the region who can help distribute all the donations.
For several years there has been turmoil in the country which has crippled the economy.
Josh Brewer has been a Director of Humanitarian Aid at the organization for 10 years.
“It’s led to inflation, hyperinflation among goods such as food and clothing and hygienic, and it’s left many people with out the ability to afford getting the food that they need,” said Brewer.
World Help said it’s part of their mission to provide help and hope to those populations that are vulnerable.
For $14 dollars you can provide food and hygienic supplies to a person in Venezuela for one month.
