Kanye West and Chick-fil-A are helping to keep vulnerable Angelenos fed during the global health crisis.
When the Los Angeles Unified School District closed indefinitely on March 13.
the Christian nonprofit Los Angeles Dream Center stepped up to the plate to make sure that every child had food, clothing and other essentials.
As part of that initiative, the “Jesus Is King” rapper teamed up with Chick-fil-A to provide 300,000 meals, Fox News reports.
Thanks to generous donors like West and Chick-fil-A, the Dream Center has even been able to deliver food to vulnerable, at-risk seniors.
“The Los Angeles Dream Center has transformed into the Grand Central Station of food distribution and other basic essentials,” Dream Center co-founder Matthew Barnett told Fox News.
“This is what a neighborhood, a community, and a church should always look like”
