Lynchburg, Va. — The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) is set to host the 2021 Ignite Men’s Impact Weekend Conference Aug. 13-14 at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA.
The “Ignite” conference exists to guide men toward the life God designed for them and equip them to face everyday challenges. This year’s conference will feature a variety of high-profile speakers and musical guests including Liberty University’s head football coach Hugh Freeze, former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier and Christian music artist Zach Williams.
The event will include three main sessions and two workshop blocks where participants will have the opportunity to choose from approximately 20 workshop options such as “Men are the Walls: Boundaries, Protection, and Leadership” with Max Davis and “Take it Back: Reclaiming Biblical Masculinity” with Dr. Tim Clinton.
“It’s a privilege to have the opportunity through ‘Ignite’ to speak into the lives of so many men,” said Dr. Tim Clinton, President of AACC. “We look forward to tackling some of the more challenging topics that men all across the country are dealing with in this day and age. It’s time that we become more equipped to lead our families, friends and communities with boldness and conviction.”
“Ignite” is open to men of all ages, and a discount is available for groups of 10 or more. Volunteer opportunities are also available. Supplemental resources including devotionals and the “Build Different” podcast hosted by Zach Clinton can be found here.
