The Dream Center is a faith-based charitable organization that finds and fills the needs of struggling people from all over the United States. Since 1995, thousands of individuals and families have found hope and healing through the programs that only the Dream Center offers. The Dream Center aims to not only meet the immediate needs of communities like providing food and clothing, but also focuses on the full successful transformation of people’s lives, all free of charge.

LOS ANGELES – Founder Matthew Barnett, his wife Caroline and their entire team of staff and volunteers are commemorating 25 years of service to the people of Los Angeles. In the years since the LA Dream Center opened its doors, more than 80 entirely independent ‘Dream Centers’ have begun similar programs in cities all across the U.S. and internationally as well.

WHAT:

The 25th anniversary celebration will include many events, but the heart of the celebration will be the stories of the lives impacted over their quarter-century of service in Los Angeles. Then the Dream Center will host a “Night of Dreams,” a festive evening combining laughter, inspiration, entertainment. The weekend-long celebration concludes at Angelus Temple with a worship service.

 

EVENT SCHEDULE:

Thursday, September 26 at 7pm

  • Special Thursday night church service at the historic Angelus Temple
  • Inspirational stories from years past
  • Recognizing pastors from across the nation who have been faithful advocates for the Dream Center and who plan to continue their support as they press onward for another 25 years

Saturday, September 28 (Reception at 6pm, Dinner at 7pm)

  • Event for celebrities, donors and staff to celebrate and prepare for the future
  • Live auction
  • Elegant dinner

Sunday, September 29 (9:15am and 11am services)

  • Prayer and worship service at Angelus Temple
  • Closing message from Matthew Barnett
