After successful launch of kids content with millions of views, the pro-American media company produces the first in a series of tween-focused shows

LOS ANGELES — This week, PragerU launches “TBH — ‘To Be Honest’ — History,” a new series where honest history meets entertainment for middle and high school students. The series will teach history without a political agenda and is set to provide families with an alternative to Crash Course, which was one of the initial 100 channels funded by YouTube’s $100 million “Original Channels Initiative,” and which has infiltrated classrooms nationwide.
“While most people would agree that learning history is important, the problem is that modern teaching of history is not honest at all,” said Marissa Streit, CEO of PragerU. “It’s laced with anti-American ideology being forced upon our kids and it’s time we did something about it. With our new show, we’re making history lessons fun, entertaining and most importantly – honest.”
Each episode of TBH History will explore a historical event, theme or idea with hosts who bring to life the content with humor, stories and age-appropriate antics.
The series’ first episode presents the history of the Scientific Revolution, with hosts promising “a deep look at the past to find out what a few religious scientists, some spinning planets and a tyrannical church had to do with America” and the technological innovation catalyzed by employing the scientific method’s principles. Quirky look-alikes of renowned scientists and philosophers like Aristotle, Copernicus, Galileo, Sir Francis Bacon and others explain how the scientific method came to be recognized as the gold standard for innovation.
TBH episodes to be released in the coming weeks include explorations of the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Industrial Revolution and the Russian Revolution.
The launch comes on top of PragerU’s successful entrance into the market for children’s content, which has racked up over 3 million views in just months. In June, “Otto’s Tales,” PragerU’s first kids book, reached #1 children’s book on Amazon within days after release. Nearly 20,000 people have joined PragerU’s PREP community (PragerU Resources for Educators and Parents) to stand together to counter the progressive agenda being taught in schools across the country.
“Increasingly Americans are turning the eyes of their kids away from the brain-rotting shows of Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney and turning them to PragerU,” said Craig Strazzeri, Chief Marketing Officer at PragerU. “It’s about time our kids binge brain-building, fun and honest educational content.”
Since its founding, PragerU videos have received over 5 billion lifetime views. It is a resource for all who value liberty. It is a threat to all those who do not. Recent videos include “The Georgia Reform Law: Who Wants Fair Elections?” and “Get Politics Out of Sports.”
