COOKE PICTURES RECEIVES “W3 SILVER AWARD” FOR MUSEUM OF THE BIBLE’S

“CAPITOL BIBLE READING” VIDEO

The prestigious W³ award selection is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts and awarded to best-in-class content productions.

WASHINGTON D.C. – Cooke Pictures was recently awarded the prestigious “W3 Silver Award for Branded Video Production / Branded Content – in the National Nonprofit Category” for its branded video produced on behalf of Museum of the Bible and in support of International Day of Prayer.

The W³ is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, interactive, advertising, and marketing firms.

The video entitled “Capitol Hill Bible Reading,” captured a ceremony organized by the National Bible Association in honor of The International Day of the Bible. Conducted in front of the US Capitol Building, the event included members of the Senate and the House of Representatives along with Bible readings from historic editions of the Bible. Museum of the Bible provided the Eliot Indian Bible which was the first Bible printed in North America in 1663, along with the Aitken Bible which was the first Bible approved and recommended by Congress in 1782.

“Cooke Pictures is extremely honored to share this award with Museum of the Bible and International Day of the Bible,” says Cooke Pictures CEO, Phil Cooke. “This event held in honor of the International Day of the Bible was a moving experience that we believed deserved tremendous care, a lot of heart and of course excellence in how we told the story. We’re extremely proud that the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts recognized our collective efforts with this fantastic award.”

“Cooke Pictures brilliantly told the story of that day—a day that invites all people to engage with the Bible.  We are thrilled that they have been honored for their work,” adds Vice President of Museum of the Bible, Steven Bickley. Showing the powerful draw of the Bible, in attendance were democrats and republicans, U.S. Senate Chaplain Barry Black, House of Representatives Chaplain FR. Pat Conroy and Chief Caring Hands of the Naticksqw Tribe who traveled from Massachusetts to read from the Eliot Bible.
