[Press Release] Dr. James Dobson Calls on Ohio Speaker of the House, Cliff Rosenberger, to Correct Governor Kasich’s Terrible Error and Immediately Call for a Vote to Override the Governor’s Veto

Dec. 16, 2016

Colorado Springs, CO — James Dobson issues the following statement:

“I join with pro-life leaders in Ohio, across America, and millions of everyday Christians in calling upon Ohio Legislators to do what Governor Kasich did not have the courage to do: ensure that the Heartbeat Bill becomes law. Now, the Ohio Speaker of the House, Cliff Rosenberger, must immediately call for a vote to override the Governor’s veto.

“It is clear that Gov. Kasich’s pro-life convictions only run as deep as his political allegiances. He should be ashamed of himself, and I hope the good lawmakers of Ohio will send the Governor a clear message by taking this decisive action. I’m encouraging everyone who cares about the life of the unborn to immediately contact Cliff Rosenberger, and to request he call for a vote to override the Governor’s veto.”
