[Release] 10-Time New York Times Bestselling Author Dr. Daniel Amen’s #1 TV Special Memory Rescue Returns to Public Television Network

Mar. 1, 2018

LOS ANGELESBack by popular demand, ten-time New York Times best-selling author, Dr. Daniel Amen’s #1 TV Special Memory Rescue returns to the Public Television Network with multiple airings through the end of March 2018. The hour-long program originally aired on Dec. 3, where Dr. Amen—who has been named “the most popular psychiatrist in America” by the Washington Post—discussed how anyone can improve their memory and even rescue it, even if it’s already headed for trouble.

The special was based off of Dr. Amen’s most recent book, Memory Rescue: Supercharge Your Brain, Reverse Memory Loss, and Remember What Matters Most, released by Tyndale Publishing in November. The renowned neuroscientist reveals how a multi-pronged strategy—including dietary changes, physical and mental exercises, as well as spiritual practices—can improve one’s brain health, enhance memory, and reduce the likelihood of Alzheimer’s and other memory loss conditions.

Dr. Amen has developed the mnemonic device of “Bright Minds” to help audiences remember the 11 major risk factors outlined in the book, which contribute to “stealing your mind.” Amen contends that all of these risk factors are either preventable or altogether treatable.
