[Release] Centennial Institute Supports President Trump’s Proposed Middle East Peace Plan

Jan. 29, 2020
LAKEWOOD, Co. — Samuel Lourie, Centennial Institute Fellow in Israel & Middle East Affairs, releases the following statement after the Trump administration unveiled its proposed Mideast peace plan:

“Today marks a historic day in the quest for peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. The Trump administration put forth the most fair and generous political offer to date in resolving this decades-old conflict. The offer builds upon the economic plan they put forth in 2019 at an economic workshop in Bahrain. The economic plan has the potential to create 1 million new Palestinian jobs, double Palestinian GDP and reduce the percentage of Palestinians living in poverty to nearly single digits. With the coupling release of the political plan by the administration, a realistic and attainable vision has been set forth that could bring peace and prosperity to the Israelis, Palestinians and the surrounding region.”
