DENVER— All Coloradans are invited to join the “Help Mom Save Baby” campaign in support of Proposition 115, a November ballot measure to end late-term abortion in Colorado. More than 153,000 petition signatures from registered Colorado voters were verified by the Colorado Secretary of State to get Proposition 115 on the ballot.

“Let’s join together to vote ‘yes’ on Proposition 115 and then follow through with all the support needed to help pregnant moms and their children,” said Nicole Hunt, a founder of the Coalition to Help Moms Save Babies, a Colorado issue committee.

Hunt, a wife, mother of four, attorney and crisis pregnancy volunteer, experienced the peril of premature birth.

“My daughter Taylor was born at 27 weeks due to pregnancy complications,” said Hunt. “Today, she is a healthy, thriving young lady. Every mother should feel empowered to choose life for their little one. We are excited to join with Colorado voters across the state to pass this reasonable, common sense measure.”

In 1967, Colorado became the first state to lift restrictions on abortion and is currently one of 7 states that allow abortions to be performed at any time during pregnancy. Proposition 115 would prohibit abortions after 22 weeks, with an exception for the life of the mother.
