[Release] Jason Yates, CEO of My Faith Votes: Impeachment ‘will accentuate’ voter turnout in 2020

Dec. 19, 2019
DALLAS — Jason Yates, CEO of My Faith Votes, releases the following statement after the historic impeachment of President Donald Trump Wednesday:

“As CEO of an organization that gauges the political temperature of the Christian community, I believe this partisan impeachment will backfire on Democrats and may result in the reelection of Donald Trump. Three years of impeachment attempts – now successful in the House’s Articles of Impeachment – have laid bare the partisan fever burning against this president and have left voters simultaneously disappointed and exhausted. Mark my words, yesterday’s impeachment will accentuate voter turnout next November and change the equation in favor of the president’s reelection.”

Jason Yates is CEO of My Faith Votes, a nonpartisan movement that motivates, equips and activates Christians in America to vote in every election, transforming our communities and influencing our nation with biblical truth. By partnering with national faith leaders, My Faith Votes provides resources to help Christians Pray, Think, and Act to create an America where God is honored in the public square. Gov. Mike Huckabee serves as the organization’s honorary national chairman.
