[Release] My Faith Votes releases impeachment guide and calls Christians to pray throughout the proceedings

Nov. 14, 2019
DALLAS — As the formal impeachment inquiry continues in the House of Representatives, My Faith Votes has released this simple guide to explain the impeachment process. The guide also helps Christians know how to pray during the proceedings with specific prayer points.

“It’s tempting to ignore the impeachment hearings and chalk them up to partisan politics,” says Jason Yates, CEO of My Faith Votes, “but Christians need to be informed and engaged.”

“Most importantly,” he says, “Christians need to pray.”

My Faith Votes calls Christians in America to specifically pray for each person on the House Intelligence Committee, the committee handling the impeachment inquiry, as well as the other committees participating in the inquiry.

Yates encourages Christians to pray every leader involved would “operate in good-faith bipartisanship, seek only the truth and display fairness and integrity.”
