PragerU’s new series ‘Stories of Us’ touts vibrant diversity of conservative movement, features testimonies of individuals who’ve walked out of Leftist groupthink

Oct. 21, 2020

HOLLYWOOD — As millions of people are changing their minds about politics and opening their eyes to the intolerance of the Left, PragerU has captured stories of ideological transformation in its new series “Stories of Us.” The mini-series shares the testimonies of those who have discovered that they have been manipulated and lied to by mainstream media.

The new PragerU show features a diverse group of Americans who celebrate their uniqueness as well as their conservative beliefs. The short episodes dive into people’s personal struggles, their upbringing and their journey to conservatism, as well as their newfound deep appreciation for America.

“The Left has proven to be intolerant by pressuring minorities to conform to all of their narratives, including ones that are harmful to the individuals they claim to help,” said Marissa Streit, CEO of PragerU. “No group is attacked more fervently than people of color, LGBTQ+ people, immigrants and women with conservative values, and these people need our support. With ‘Stories of Us,’ we tell the stories that the Left has canceled and we celebrate not only diversity of gender and color, but true diversity of thought.”

The inaugural episodes of “Stories of Us” will spotlight Brandon Tatum, a former Tucson police officer; Brandon Straka, an LGBTQ+ activist and founder of the #WalkAway movement; Gina Florio, a Harvard alumna and former leftwing blogger; and Amir Odom, a young man of color originally from Chicago.

“Conservatives are not all the same, as progressives would like everyone to believe,” said Streit. “They don’t fit neatly into prescribed categories of ethnicity, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, or any other demographic criteria. The Left doesn’t want you to know this because they can’t stand the fact that they don’t have the corner on diversity.”

PragerU encourages those who have similar stories of transformation to submit them for consideration for use in future episodes of “Stories of Us.”
