Jun. 23, 2020
SACRAMENTO — Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, has joined the true-life movie My Brothers’ Crossing (2020) as an executive producer.

My Brothers’ Crossing, based on the book In the Blink of an Eye by JT and Terri Lee Clark, tells the story of a fatal motorcycle accident and the power of forgiveness to heal a broken family and redeem the man responsible for the tragedy. The movie, produced by Tony D. White and written by Edna Janeen White, is set for theatrical release July 17, 2020.

“This story of forgiveness is timely in a way that cannot be mere coincidence,” Rev. Rodriguez said. “Especially at a time when we are confronted with the unresolved problem of racism in America, our nation needs to remember that forgiveness can transcend our racial divisions and heal even our deepest wounds. I am honored to be part of such a powerful and compelling film, one that shares the hope of transformation for individuals and entire communities through the power of Jesus Christ.”

My Brothers’ Crossing chronicles the tragic death of Bobby and Pam Clark from the perspective of a brother in mourning. JT Clark, portrayed by Daniel Roebuck (Getting Grace), finds the strength to forgive and an entire community finds unity in the transformative power of Christ.
