FOREST, Va. — World Help, an international Christian humanitarian aid organization, has activated its crisis response program to provide aid to victims of Hurricane Dorian.
Hurricane Dorian slammed into the Bahamas this Labor Day weekend as a devastating Category 5 storm. The destruction was unprecedented, and the flooding some of the worst the island nation has ever seen. Now, as the storm makes its way up the eastern U.S., it could still cause significant damage and power outages across the region.
To aid in the relief effort, World Help has partnered with relief organization in the Bahamas and the U.S. to help in the areas most affected. A $50 donation provides necessities such as bottled water, food, and hygiene items to a person in need.
“Please do something to help today. Your involvement during this unsettling time will remind the victims of this tragedy they are not alone,” said Vernon Brewer, founder and CEO of World Help. “But most of all, take time to pray on behalf of those affected by Hurricane Dorian. Pray for their safety, their health and for the recovery process over the next several months.”
