[Release] World Help Ships 1,440 Buckets of Blessings to Guatemala

Apr. 20, 2018

FOREST, Va. — World Help and God’s Pit Crew (GPC) held a “packing party” on April 14 to put together 1,440 Buckets of Blessings for families in need. Now, the buckets are on their way to communities in Guatemala.

The buckets consist of 23 different types of items, from hygienic to educational supplies, all suited for the average family of five in Guatemala. They were assembled at God’s Pit Crew headquarters in Danville, Virginia, by more than 50 volunteers who donated between 4-6 hours of their time.

The buckets will reach their destination between July and early August and be distributed via World Help’s partners on the ground upon arrival.

God’s Pit Crew has traditionally used Buckets of Blessings to serve families within the U.S., in response to natural disasters. If this new global initiative reaches success in Guatemala, the Buckets of Blessings effort may expand to other countries around the world.
