International Fellowship of Christians and Jews

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews was founded in 1983 to promote understanding and cooperation between Jews and Christians and to build broad support for Israel and other shared concerns. Our vision is that Jews and Christians will reverse their 2,000-year history of discord and replace it with a relationship marked by dialogue, understanding, respect and cooperation.

[Release] Yael Eckstein thanks U.S. for ‘sensible policy grounded in reality’ in response to new position on West Bank settlements

Nov. 19, 2019
JERUSALEM — Mrs. Yael Eckstein, President of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, issues the following statement responding to the United States new position on settlements in the West Bank:

“Once again, this United States government has embraced a sensible policy grounded in reality, which is the first step in the process to achieve lasting peace in the Holy Land. The truth of the matter is that America is recognizing what the Bible has already established as truth: Jews have lived in cities throughout Judea and Samaria for thousands of years. I applaud the United States for acknowledging that settlements there are in no way, shape or form illegal. And I commend the Trump administration for consistently taking bold action in response to decades of indifference. May God bless our friends and allies in the U.S.”

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (The Fellowship) was founded in 1983 to promote better understanding and cooperation between Christians and Jews and build broad support for Israel. Today it is one of the leading forces helping Israel and Jews in need worldwide — and is the largest channel of Christian support for Israel. Founded by Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, The Fellowship now raises more than $120 million per year, mostly from Christians, to assist Israel and the Jewish people. Since its founding, The Fellowship has raised more than $1.6 billion for this work. The organization has offices in Jerusalem, Chicago, Toronto and Seoul. For more information, visit
