SPRINGDALE, Ark. — Dr. Ronnie Floyd, pastor of Cross Church and president of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, issues the following statement:
“To say that the opening of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem today is a historic event would be an understatement. This is the first time in nearly 2,000 years that Jerusalem has been internationally recognized as Israel’s rightful capital. No other people has endured what Israel has endured and survived as one united nation. The opening of the U.S embassy in Jerusalem is the indisputable affirmation of Israel’s right to a land promised to them millennia ago. And it’s the prophetic answer to the prayers of millions of Christians and Jews alike, who believe the Scriptures when they say God will bless those who bless Israel.”
