[Statement] My Faith Votes Applauds U.S. Embassy Opening in Jerusalem

May. 14, 2018

DALLAS — Jason Yates, CEO of My Faith Votes, releases the following statement:

“The opening of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem sends a historic signal to the world that America stands shoulder to shoulder with our closest ally in the Middle East. Our gratitude is due the Trump administration for fulfilling a decades-old promise past administrations have been unwilling to keep. Christians know that God formed the nation of Israel and established Jerusalem as its eternal capital, and relocating our embassy there only acknowledges that ancient truth. Let us pray today for the peace of Jerusalem and that new avenues to lasting peace in the region may be found.”
