[Statement] My Faith Votes Issues Statement Supporting the 2018 March for Life

Jan. 19, 2018

DALLAS — Jason Yates, CEO of My Faith Votes, issues the following statement in support of the 2018 March for Life in Washington D.C.:

“A person’s value is not determined by ethnicity, race, gender, age, citizenship or any other identifying factor. Our dignity is not based on our abilities, whether we are able to care for ourselves or our competence to perform tasks. It’s not dependent on our economic status, ZIP code or social position. Instead, a person’s value is based on being made in the likeness of God; it is a divine and irrevocable membership in the human family. No matter what we do or say, our human dignity cannot be forfeited or diminished.

“On this 45th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, thousands of pro-life Americans march in our nation’s capital to declare that human lives matter. Being pro-life means so much more than defending unborn children. We reaffirm our commitment to care for people through every season of life, from before birth until death. ”
