[Statement] My Faith Votes to President Trump after Signing Tax Bill into Law: Thank You for Keeping Your Promise to We the People

Dec. 22, 2017

DALLAS — Sealy Yates, founder and president of My Faith Votes, releases the following statement commending the Trump administration for enacting sweeping tax reform:

“AT&T is giving $200 million worth in bonuses; Wells Fargo and Fifth Third Bancorp are increasing their hourly wages; Boeing is setting aside $300 million for corporate giving and workforce development — this is what it looks like when the American economy is unleashed!

“Thank you, President Trump, for keeping your promise to reform our tax system. It feels wonderful to wake up in an America led by a president who puts We the People first and actually does what he says he will do.

“Under this new tax bill, real families will immediately see real savings, and will have the freedom to decide what to do with their money, instead of a bureaucrat telling them how they have to spend it. The backbone of America — the millions of Americans who make our great country work every day — will see a stimulus of our economy that will bring benefits to them for years to come. America at last has a tax code for this millennium, and for all the people.”
