DALLAS — On the renomination of Chai Feldblum to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Jason Yates, CEO of My Faith Votes, releases the following statement:
“President Trump, the renomination of Chai Feldblum for another five-year term as a member of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is a threat to religious liberty and is inconsistent with the stellar commitment to religious liberty your administration has kept thus far.
“Feldblum’s endorsement of polygamy and fringe belief that the institution of marriage offers no value to society puts her outside the mainstream. She aggressively advocates for LGBT issues to overrule religious liberty whenever necessary. If she keeps her post on the EEOC for another five years, there will be a definitive, devastating shift in the application of discrimination laws regarding the right of Christians to practice their faith in the workplace.
“Therefore, I urge you to rescind her nomination immediately and put forth a candidate who is committed to protecting the traditional values that have made America great.”
