SPRINGDALE, Ark. — Dr. Ronnie Floyd, president of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, releases the following statement, urging prayers for the people impacted by the growing wildfires in Southern California.
“This week, wildfires in northern Los Angeles have torn across nearly 80,000 acres of land, burning everything in between and forcing tens of thousands of people to evacuate their homes. We must now pray for the first responders risking their lives to control the fires and for everyone caught in this catastrophe. So far, no casualties have been reported, but many people are still at risk. California needs our prayers.”
