GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Jentezen Franklin, senior pastor of Free Chapel, releases the following statement in celebration of Israel’s 70th year as an independent nation:
“Each and every year that we mark the independence of Israel, I’m reminded of the constant miracle that God performs in the Middle East with their freedom. We commemorate their 70th year, a moment of justice that occured in 1948 after years of horrific genocide inflicted on Jewish people around the globe. Yet make no mistake, they have endured centuries of turmoil and their existence is continually threatened by terror groups and nations that wish them harm.
A free and sovereign Israel is of paramount importance in achieving peace in the Middle East. I unapologetically stand with them and I hope every American and someday every nation will do the same. May God continue to bless and protect the State of Israel.”
Jentezen Franklin is the senior pastor of Free Chapel, a multi-campus church.
