[Statement] Ronnie Floyd Reacts to Executive Order Ending Family Separation at Border

Jun. 20, 2018

SPRINGDALE, Ark.— Dr. Ronnie Floyd, pastor of Cross Church and president of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, issues the following statement:

“Alongside millions of Christians across America, I’m relieved the president has acted to stop the inhumane separation of families at our border. It doesn’t matter the circumstances of their arrival, and honestly, it doesn’t even matter which administration actually allowed this practice to begin. As a nation that purports to value and protect life we must be better than this. Separating children from their parents is just not right. Yes, we must follow the law of the land, but we must do it with both justice and compassion, and not forsake one for the other.”
