[Statement] World Help President Vernon Brewer Encourages Generosity for the Less Fortunate During This Season of Giving

Nov. 22, 2017

FOREST, Va. – Vernon Brewer, World Help’s president and founder, released a Thanksgiving statement today, encouraging Americans to display generosity for those in need during the holiday season.

“Thanksgiving is about acknowledging that everything good comes from a generous and loving God, whose plan is to bless us so we might be a blessing to others. My prayer this Thanksgiving is that we will make room at the table for those who are not as fortunate as we are. Let’s do more than count our blessings — let’s actually bless someone like we’ve been blessed.”

World Help recently launched its holiday gifts catalog for shoppers who want to make a positive impact in the lives of others around the world. The catalog features humanitarian gifts that promote sustainability and education, provide emergency aid and relief and empower community development.
